Product Support - QUICKCHECK webline

FAQ

  • I correctly set up the connection to QUICKCHECK webline in the QUICKCHECK software, but the USB connection still does not work. What can I do?
There are sometimes connection problems with certain USB cables or ports.
Try using a shorter USB cable to solve the problem. If the problem still exists try a different USB port on your PC and try to connect the QUICKCHECK directly (without docking station).
  • Do I have to perform all measurement tasks of a worklist? How can I skip a measurement?
No, you are not tied to a fixed measurement routine. QUICKCHECKwebline leaves you the flexibility you need. A worklist may comprise only one or several measurement tasks. Prior to start, you are free to select the entire worklist, with all tasks being automatically completed step-by-step once the device is irradiated. Alternatively, you can select a specific measurement task from the worklist to be performed.
  • How can I delete a measurement, if e.g. my accelerator was not sufficiently warmed up?
If you have a cable connection from your PC to the QUICKCHECKwebline select -> Edit -> Advanced -> Clear actual measurement

    Without a cable connection:
    - Display the analysis window
    - Select the measurement to delete
    - In the menu line, position the cursor on Delete and press Enter

Measurements can only be deleted on the day of the measurement.
With firmware < 1.5.1 measurements can only be deleted with administrator rights. Please contact PTW for a firmware update.
  • What's the difference between the different protocols in the QUICKCHECK WorklistGenerator and which tolerances should I choose?
The protocols which are available in the Worklist Generator are standard protocols from AAPM TG45, AFSSAPS 93, IEC60976, Elekta, Siemens or Varian. They have different definitions for parameters like flatness or symmetry. You can create your own protocol or use one of the default protocols.

You should start with the standard tolerances given in the demo worklists. After some measurements you can adopt the tolerance levels to your needs.
  • Should I normalize the measurements or not?
For constancy check it is always recommended to normalize the measurements. However, for some protocols this is not possible because the target value is zero. Firmware 1.5 or higher does not allow normalizing the measurement if the target value is zero.
  • How can I quickly check if all of today's measurements are within their limits?
If the red LED (TOLERANCE) is off all measurements are within their limits. If one parameter of today's worklist is out of its limits the red LED is blinking. If the actual measurement is out of its limits the red LED is on.
  • Do I need build up materials for the measurements?
You should not use build up or backscatter material for your measurements.
  • Does QUICKCHECK work with dynamic wedges too?
Yes, dynamic wedges can be checked with QUICKCHECK. Select "Wedge Angle" in the Worklist Generator. QUICKCHECK will display the wedge angle instead of flatness.
  • How many measurements can be saved in a QUICKCHECK?
QUICKCHECK can save up to 10.000 measurements. It is recommended to download and save your measurements from time to time. The download does not automatically delete the measurements from the QUICKCHECK.
