Product Support - MLCSoft and epidSoft

  • Which data format should I choose to export images to MLCSoftepid and epidSoft: DICOM, JPEG, or TIFF?
We recommend exporting the data in DICOM format. However, the EPIDs of some manufacturers require a special licence to do so.
If you are not able to export in DICOM format, we recommend exporting in TIFF format.
(Note: MLCSoftepid is not able to read JPEG format)
  • The images can't be analyzed; they seem to be too dark. What can I do?
For some Varian systems it is necessary to activate the VOI/LUT Transformation in MLCSoftepid while loading DICOM data.
To do so, go to Tools » Options » DICOM.
If this does not help, try changing the EPID settings.
