Our Sustainability Mission Statement

In 2024, we proudly introduced our Sustainability Mission Statement! It encapsulates our core principles and values that serve as the cornerstones of our sustainability efforts. Our mission and future vision guide us, showing the path as we actively work towards being a more sustainable company.

Our statement builds upon the existing PTW values to envision an ambitious long-term sustainability vision for PTW, encompassing environmental, governance, and social aspects.

We also defined an extended future vision for each of these three dimensions:

Environment

Our vision is for PTW to become a global leader in environmental stewardship, exceeding climate-positive goals and regulatory requirements while upholding transparency in our performance. Earning the trust and enthusiastic collaboration of our stakeholders, we spearhead sustainability in our sector. We aim for our products to be 100% recyclable and to eliminate single-use plastics and hazardous materials, leading in sustainable product design. We strive to make every PTW facility a model of green architecture, where the employees’ well-being and biodiversity can thrive, while the carbon footprint is minimized. Furthermore, we actively support social and environmental projects in the regions where we operate, uphold human and environmental rights throughout our supply chain, and champion environmental stewardship through educational initiatives within our company and as an industry role model.

Through transparent decision-making processes and innovative solutions, we strive to lead the way in promoting a world where radiation dosimetry contributes to a safer and healthier society, while minimizing our ecological footprint and maximizing social impact. We are dedicated to sustainable product development, embracing the principles of the circular economy tominimize waste and maximize the lifespan of our products through design, reuse, and recycling initiatives.
